THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT …..

This year has been unbelievable. But here we are. In a year when most of us couldn't physically be with the people in our lives that matter most, we are so honored that so many of you chose The Little Shop of Horticulture to be there for you when YOU couldn't be.

We've said it before, but we're a homegrown operation. We’ve been living in the stress nightmare most small business owners have been dealing with this year: how do we sustain and nurture the livelihoods of our team, meet insane e-commerce demand, manage the supply chain ramifications and ensure we're doing all of this in the safest possible way? It's been day-by-day adaptability. It's been no real mental break for either of us since March, when Santa Cruz issued a first-in-our-lifetime stay at home order. It's been scaling back staff and scaling up testing.

We are so unbelievably grateful for the demand and the health of our team, but it has been (word of the year!!) unprecedented. With updated stay-at-home orders from our county and state, the COVID surge in California, and the overloading of all package carriers, we have made the decision to move up our cutoff for guaranteed delivery by Christmas to ensure we’re taking care of you.

All orders placed by 5p PST on Wednesday December 9th are guaranteed* to arrive by Christmas. Otherwise, all orders will be operating on a timeline of 6-12 business days until 12/23, where (like every year) we’ll be closing the warehouse for some much deserved rest for the team until 1/4/21. We’ll be back to our speedy 3-6 business day processing time — something we are so proud of— at that time!

We appreciate your business, your patience, and your understanding. Just as you’ve let The Little Shop of Horticulture get you and yours through the good times and bad, you have given that love right back to us. We can’t thank you enough for placing your trust in us, time and time again. Here’s to ending the year with graciousness and looking forward to 2021.

- The Little Shop Team

*once packages leave our warehouse, we cannot control carrier delays (UPS and USPS) but we feel confident that this dispatch date gives sufficient buffer time for unprecedented carrier demand
